Tempering Filter for Substance Painter
A Substance Painter filter to add Tempering/Heat Treatment colors to metal materials with physically accurate colors. It works by multiplying the effect on top of the Base Color and can be made brighter or less opaque using the controls provided. Additionally, source .sbs file is included for those who want to modify the effect or logic. Color range is determined by the Thin-Film interference effect nanometer scale using this article as a guide reference. Effect goes up to 500nm which I thought is more than enough for the filter effect. Default range is set to 275nm, but it can be adjusted in the settings.
Free to use in any personal or commercial projects. Crediting is not required but it is appreciated.
Installation: Drag and drop the tempering_filter_1.0.sbsar to Substance Painter assets shelf/tab.
